A playful basketball court pizza topped with colorful bell peppers, olives, and pepperoni arranged like free throws.
# Components:
→ Dough
01 - 1 lb pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
→ Sauce
02 - 1/2 cup pizza sauce
→ Cheese
03 - 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
04 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
→ Toppings
05 - 8 slices pepperoni
06 - 1/4 cup pitted black olives, sliced
07 - 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced into thin strips
08 - 1/2 yellow bell pepper, sliced into thin strips
09 - 2 tbsp green onions, thinly sliced
10 - 1 tbsp corn kernels (optional)
→ Flour
11 - 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
# Method:
01 - Preheat oven to 475°F. Place pizza stone inside if using to heat.
02 - Dust work surface with flour and roll dough into a 10x14 inch rectangle to mimic a basketball court. Transfer to parchment-lined baking sheet or preheated stone.
03 - Spread pizza sauce evenly over dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border around edges.
04 - Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese uniformly over the sauce.
05 - Arrange yellow bell pepper strips to outline court boundaries and red strips for center circle and key.
06 - Position pepperoni slices at each end as basketballs. Use sliced olives and optional corn kernels to mark free throw circles and three-point lines.
07 - Scatter green onions along edges to mimic court markings or grass.
08 - Bake 12–15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
09 - Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then slice into rectangles and serve.
